Application Components
A complete application contains:
- EUR 170 application fee
- Completed
application
form incl. a passport-sized photo
- Statement of purpose
- Curriculum vitae (CV)
Application Fee
The EUR 170 application fee must accompany your application. Payment options include personal or
institutional check in USD (made payable application to Studienforum Berlin e.V.), or international money transfer
in EUR.
In case you send a personal
check, add the processing fee of
the equivalent of EUR 19.50.

- Statement of Purpose: Please submit a one-page statement of purpose (typed) describing your teaching and research interests. Describe your objectives by outlining how you expect to benefit professionally from participation on the seminar (e.g., curriculum development, research, European contacts to develop exchanges, etc.).
- Curriculum Vitae: Your current CV or résumé, not to exceed two pages (if possible), must be submitted as part of your application.
